DEALER'S CHOICE RULES AND REGULATIONS

The “Dealer’s Choice” program has been set up to allow sources in Europe that Grand Central Station Antiques has used for many years to freely upload, into designated areas in our web site, as much of their inventory as they want. These sources are all reputable dealers with years (in most cases “generations”) of experience and a wide variety of goods. Each dealer is assigned a specific card and will always use the same card to exhibit his or her inventory.

1. Neither Grand Central Station Antiques, Antiques for Seven, Ltd., or any of its employees offer any guarantee or warranty as to the condition or age of any item exhibited in this area. Everything purchased here is sold “as is” with no exchanges or refunds.

2. Neither Grand Central Station Antiques, Antiques for Seven, Ltd, or any of our staff will be responsible for loss or damage to purchased items during shipping or handling in Europe or the United States.

3. The “landed cost” price listed with each item includes all freight, wrapping, packing, loading, customs and unloading costs for each item from Europe to our store in San Francisco.

4. You must be 18 years of age and be willing to show proof of age.

5. If you are a dealer, you must provide us with a copy of a valid resale number that will be kept on file. Private buyers will be charged applicable state and local sales taxes. Dealers who wish to avoid sales tax must have a valid resale number on file.

6. Unless otherwise arranged all purchased items must be removed from our store within 7 days from the day the container is unloaded.

There are, of course, inherent problems with buying furniture and collectables from photographs. Even with the most accurate description, there is no equivalent to actually seeing the item in person. However, keep in mind, that we can help in many ways to mitigate the risk of getting something other than what you imagined. We can set you up with excellent, reasonably priced refinishers and restorers. At an additional price, any item purchased can be polished by an experienced member of our staff with the same waxes and oils we use on our own furniture in the store. We can also attempt to sell any piece for you under the terms of our consignment agreement. You, the buyer, will have options if the piece arrives and just doesn’t suit you needs. However, the best approach is to be careful in your buying and ask questions. You can rest assured that we will be here to help at every step of the process.

By clicking "I Accept" below, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and accept the rules and regulations under which the Dealer's Choice is managed.
